We work along side some of the most inspiring stone circle musicians.
When we say that what we mean is that the composers of this music have visited these sites and are greatly inspired by what the find there.

Some of the composers are deeply effected by tribal ways and sounds and this becomes evident in there music. Some of our artist create a more contemporary style.

The genres of the music are all completely different and there is some thing for everyone to enjoy and relax to.

Some of are artists prefer a slower tempo some prefer a more percussive pulse to help you enter a trance.

There is a wide range of music composed by people who visit and are inspired by sacred sites. .

There’s a style for everyone here from the trance inducing sounds of the bongos to meditative relaxed music and the sounds of dub and trance.

When the drum is played correctly it is known as a vehicle for entering a trance like state.

Akoo was formed in 2001 when two friends at college started making music together. There two different styles completely moulded to produce a tribal; hypnotic journey full of punch and space.
